3. How We Share Your Information

With Other Users

Your public profile information β€” including your username, sports, skill level, tier, and approximate location on the map β€” is visible to other TribeX users. Messages in chat are visible only to the participants of that conversation.

With Service Providers

We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the Services (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, push notifications). These providers are contractually required to protect your information and may only use it for the purposes we specify.

For Legal Reasons

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent harm or enforce our Terms.

Business Transfers

If TribeX is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not share your personal information with advertisers or sell it to any third party.

4. Location Data

Location data is central to the TribeX experience. We use it to:

  • Display your position on the sports map (approximate, not exact);
  • Help you discover athletes and games near you.

You can revoke location access at any time in your device settings. If you do, some features of the Services will not be available.

We do not share your precise real-time location with other users. Other users see only a general proximity on the map.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 45 days, except where we are required by law to retain it for longer.
